DVA Success!!

You may remember my blog post a couple weeks back, where I talked about a Tweet up for the local Refuge House. The Refuge House is a local shelter for victims of Domestic Violence, and also works to promote Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention.  I again blogged here about the successful event.

The event as held at  LeRoc Bistro Cafe, at the Hotel Duval. It was a great location with its funky decor and delicious food. We also were able to raise a money and supplies for the Refuge House.

This past Monday, Amy hosted the annual Salad Days event for the local alumnae chapter, Epsilon Tau Epsilon.  Diane Jefferson, Development Director of Refuge House was able to join us! The chapter presented her with the money and supplies we have raised!!  A huge thanks to Amy for not only hosting the event, but capturing photos so we can all share the success of the event with our readers!!!

It is so nice to be part of such an amazing group of women!!!! I look forward to our next event!
