Saturday

Bachlorette party fun!!!

I am TRULY blessed to have the most amazing group of girlfriends. I am so thankful for each and everyone of them. When my MOH suggested a girls weekend for my bachlorette party, I was all in! My MOH planned a weekend that couldn't be any more perfect! We traveled from all around to Amelia Island for a weekend. We stayed at a beach house that she was able to find on VRBO. In the true style of my friends they planned a perfect weekend and ensured no detail was overlooked. Below is a photo recap of the weekend.

Above is a photo of the sign and home made "poofs" that greeted us when we arrived upstairs. You can see the beach out the window to the left.

Above the the table of favors. My good friend Ashley (who couldn't attend) made adorable personalized cups for everyone. My MOH made monogrammed cosmetic bags for everyone. Also included in the favors were custom M&M's, tissues, etc.
No space was over looked. The fridge displayed the flag above.  and above is a close up of the M&M's

We stayed up late Friday night, as girlfriends do when they get together, chatting, drinking wine, and sharing stories. We slept in on Saturday (some woke up early for a walk on the beach) and headed out to a local beach restaurant. We drank some adult beverages, and lunch prior to strolling around downtown Amelia Island.. Stopping at all of the local shops! After heading back to the beach house to freshen up, we headed out for pre-dinner drinks..
(yes my besties JSBH took a celebratory shot with me (oh how things are different than the bachlorette parties right out of college)I think JSBH & I will stick to wine, as the shot was less than tasty..
After drinks, we headed to 29 South for dinner (more on restaurant in tomorrows post) Again my friends ensured the details were added from napkins, to sash.. dessert and drinks it was a great night.
Following dinner we headed to a few local bars, before retiring to the beach house. We stayed up late chatting, and catching up.
Saturday we enjoyed a Monograms and Mimosa Brunch were my friends showered me with the most amazing monogrammed items.. I love a good monogram & am excited about my new initials BRD!!! And yes some strayed from the monogram and provided gag gifts that provided a good laugh.

I could not have asked for a better Bachlorette weekend, and am so thankful to all of my friends who made the trip!!! Can't wait for the wedding!!!
